Joplin, MO

joplin_edited-2COI continues disaster relief in Joplin in response to the devastating EF5 multiple-vortex tornado that struck Joplin in May 2011.  Although it's been nearly 6 months, Joplin still needs your help to recover.

Teams start the day early and generally return in the early afternoon to escape the heat of the day.  Residents of Joplin continue to need to express their loss and anguish which is still present in their everyday lives.  The team will be an invaluable part of their recovery by helping where needed and spreading the love of Jesus Christ.  The real impact, on a mission trip providing disaster relief, is the joyful feeling God will place in your heart that begins with the warmth and appreciation of the people you help.
